The Vision Project Podcast (VPP) host, Kefentse Risher, is the Sr. Pastor of St. Paul and Pleasant Grove U.M.C. located in Huntsville, Texas. His personal philosophy and passion is re-thinking faith to realize that there is enough God available for everyone to find their purpose through the open and honest exploration of the soul. He's so inspired by the opportunity to share the perspectives of brilliant souls on VPP. Asheva is a lifelong friend to Kefentse and they discuss topics such as spirituality, work/life balance and prioritizing family on this first episode of VPP.
Asheva is a former President and CEO of Senior Citizens Bureau (SCB) - a national non-profit organization created in 1998 that provides information, education and support to senior adults and caregivers. Serving first as the Program Director for the organization, Asheva assisted in creating important programs and services offered to Senior Citizens Bureau members.
By thinking outside of the box, she was able to become the visionary for Vaughn Gage Adult Wellness Center which focuses on caring for those with diagnoses such as Alzheimers, Dementia, MS, and Parkinson’s. Their unique approach takes into account the physical, mental, spiritual and emotional well-being of the senior adult.
